Additionally, the spacious living room has a sleeper sofa, so plenty of room to stretch out, relax and easily sleeps 8. The kitchen offers everything for cooking a family meal and the formal dining room has a large table which seats 8. Enjoy the charming vintage bathroom while taking a soak in the claw foot tub. Whether you stay a weekend or more the laundry room has a wash sink, washer and dryer for you to use. The exterior deck has a gas grill, outdoor table and chairs. You can go fishing and enjoy our fire pit right on the river front or sit on the deck with a drink while watching the barges go by. This property is conveniently located on the main road in LeClaire Iowa and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, distilleries, bars and a grocery store right across the street. We have put a lot of time and love into renovating this home for many to enjoy. It has many of the comforts of home while offering the LeClaire charm. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.

    The rescued river retreat was amazing. We loved the attention to detail in the house. It was very very clean and had everything we needed and then some!

    The place is very cute, well maintained and clean. The location is incredible, shops are just down the block and it was very easy to walk to shopping, food and all the great spots in LeClaire. It should be noted that the train tracks are in the backyard, between the fire pit and the back porch. Also, the trains run at all hours and often during the night. My husband wasn't bothered at all but the kids and I woke up a bit as they do run the horn as they go past the houses. I didn't see this anywhere in the description so it would be good to note that. Obviously they don't have any control over the trains but keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper. That said, the place was really sweet, had everything we needed and was a great location.

In the listing n you can see the train tracks in the pictures and also it is listed under property info on the listing, so it is disclosed.
